The Instructors
Sebastian Thrun
Sebastian Thrun is a Research Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, a Google Fellow, a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the German Academy of Sciences. Thrun is best known for his research in robotics and machine learning.
Peter Norvig
Peter Norvig is Director of Research at Google Inc. He is also a Fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence and the Association for Computing Machinery. Norvig is co-author of the popular textbook Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach. Prior to joining Google he was the head of the Computation Sciences Division at NASA Ames Research Center.

Educators Day’09 NI YANTRA, we had designed a robot with the aim of Mumbai Terror Attack and robot was named as “On Novel Architecture of Emergency Mitigation using Autonomous Robots”, we won 3rd prize in allover India.

Founder’sDay @ MVJCE, RGN team was awarded for winning many competitions in the field of robotic in the year 2008-09.

April 2009
• Organized Autonomous Line Follower Robotics Competition at Techno Maze ’09 @ MVJCE (EC Dept Fest).
• SWAYAM ’09 @ MVJCE (Annual fest) we organized robotic event named racing robots, its manually controlled robot competition.

March 2009
• Our Line Follower Robot was Fastest LFR in South India and North India for the year 2009 – 2010.
• National Instruments Company selected a few colleges in India for NI Yantra 09 competition, MVJCE was one among few and our teams was selected and we were given 5days training on NI Labview. We attended the training at National Instruments at Bangalore
• Organized robotic event at MVJCE for roboclub members event named Autonomous Line Follower competition.

• Inaugurated Roboclub “Magnum Opus” at MVJCE, with the help of A.A.NATARAJAN Dean & HOD ECE (2008).
• We were selected as Roboclub bears.
• We were rewarded for our distinguished performance in the field of ROBOTICS for the year 2008 by MVJCE.
• Organized a seminar on “Emerging Robotics & Nano robots”.
• Organized two day-workshop at MVJCE, workshop was conducted by BANGALORE ROBOTICS & DOCEL RADIO RESEARCH.INC

We received prize from Indian Cricketer ROBIN SINGH during the valedictory function at SRM University.
